How much money does a comcast sales rep make

The 6 figures is from the commission, I was just hoping to find out what the commission was and how it can get that high. Anyone know what Comcast's door to door sales people make? I find it hard to believe they would pay them 6 figures on top of the benefits they get, but maybe they do. Anyone know what the commission structure looks like? Might be a good thing to get into.

I don't see how it could pay that high even with the commissions. I find it hard to believe a company would pay that much to a sales person in addition to the benefits. I knew a salesman at comcast that made , dollars a year. I also knew a guy that made 50, doing the exact same job.

One worked in Philadelphia and the other worked the suburbs. One got to sit and sign people in newly wired highrises and the other got to knock on doors in pottstown.

The one in philly had apartment managers giving new tenants his card and the one in pottstown sucked. Im not a salesman for them but the way it was explained to me is its a graduated pay. Lets say you get 70 dollars for a triple play. That 70 dollars can go up to like Thats the way it was explained to me without me remembering the actual numbers. Bottom line is tho yes a good salesman can make a good buck doing it.

Do they pay you more if you have to do door to door in those areas? Many years ago did it as a part time gig as an Independent Contractor. Comcast had just entered a new market area with laying of Cable in an area that was middle to upper middle class single family homes. We had printouts of the addresses with pretty accurate guesses as to what service they had.

The competition was OTA, Dish and DirectTV. Signed up a lot and wore out a lot of shoe leather. Every week we had different offers.

We had offers that one could not get by calling Comcast directly. We worked in pairs.

And I did not do the "hard sell". And it was decent part time money as I was going to school. We had the same contract papers for the customers to sign and while at the door, we would call into dispatch to arrange installation appointments and get the various order numbers we needed. Also I would assume business accounts with contracts or Metro E services that garner thousands in monthly fees would have a substantially higher commission.

It all depends what your selling and where your selling.

I wish somebody would come by the house, I need some special promotions again. I can't see it on commissions alone. Most companies can't speak for CC will pay a commission plus a residual. After a year or two of busting your ass can get to 6 figures as your residuals build up. CRTC to ban unlocking fees!

I have come across complaints from some of my friends about the false promises made by these people. They have been offered TV, phone and internet connection for a better price than what they were paying.
